I tried calling the Canadian ph number for verbal assistance and not answering. Send an email this morning. I have a specific intended use and I want to do it right. Please respond to my email in detail, please.
My previous experience with Polyaspartic Aliphatic Polyurea was from a large well known manufacturer/provider and I have to say that Magic Resins product has proven to me to be identical in performance at about half the cost! I will be using it again on our future projects. Also easy and quick to order with free shipping.
I applied an epoxy base coat, then an epoxy color coat using Magic resin products. These steps went well. I then applied a poly finish coat and it set up faster than expected. Mixing and pot time was less than 5 minutes. My working time was at 15 minutes from pour when I wasn't able to work it anymore. Applying two gallons total. First time user. Ended up with lots of ridges, ripples, uneven rough finish.
The poly appears to be durable, just didn't end up with the finish I wanting.
I'm going to wait a few years to see how it holds up. If good, I'll sand and try again. Maybe one gallon at a time.
